PaperMC, the open-source, high-performance Spigot fork that I use for my server binaries was also one of the first to provide a patched build, even before Mojang did!
Well, that didn't stop "someone" (probably a bot looking for vulnerable MC installs using default ports) to try to access a small server I host for a local LGBTQ+ guild.
It literally spend New Year's Eve trying to gain access through said exploit. Too bad it was patched on day one. Happy New Year!
